Lays UCL Campaign



1-1)We invite you to take part in the Lay’s UCL campaign by visiting our instore activation stand located at specific Panda supermarkets, the participants are invited to take part in a scoring based activity with an ultimate price waiting for the winners. All winners will be shortlisted via scanning the barcode at the activation location as per the terms and conditions.

1-2)Throughout these Promotion terms and conditions, the terms "we," "us" and "our" refer to the Organizers (as defined below).Your entry in the campaign is strictly conditional upon your acceptance of all the terms, conditions, policies and notices stated herein. By entering this Promotion, you hereby confirm that you have read and agreed to all terms and conditions for the Promotion (“Terms and Conditions”). The Organizers reserve the right to make changes to the Terms and Conditions from time to time at its sole discretion and without notice. You should therefore periodically revisit the link where the Terms and Conditions are published to check for such changes.  Your continued participation in the Promotion after any changes to the Terms and Conditions will constitute your acceptance to any changed Terms and Conditions.


2-1)Instructions on how to participate in this campaign are contained in the Terms (defined below) as may be supplemented from the activation stand, constitute an integral part of the terms and conditions of entry.

2-2)Any person participating in this Campaign will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted the Terms.

2-3)Participants need to fulfil the following criteria to participate in the Campaign:

  • Minimum age of 18 years old.
  • Holder of a passport.
  • All winners must be eligible to travel abroad alone 

2-4)Participation of any entity that belongs to the competition is not allowed.

2-5)Participants understand that entry to the Campaign does not create an affiliation between the Participants and the Organizers.

2-6)The Organizers reserve the right to: (a) cancel this Campaign at any time; and/or (b) amend the Terms.  Any cancellation or amendment will be published on the Platforms and effective from the date of publication on the Platforms.

3)The Campaign

PepsiCo, Saudi Snack Foods Co. Ltd. are inviting you to take part in Promotion. This Promotion involves the following:

3-1)The Participants shall visit the activation stand and participate in the on ground activities located in specific panda stores. Only the winners will have the access to scan the barcode located within the stand 

3-2)After the expiry of the campaign, the winners will be chosen randomly.

3-3)Each winner is allowed to have one companion to join him in the trip 

3-4)The companion must provide all documents to make him/her eligible to travel outside KSA within 24 Hours of the draw 

3-5)If the companion failed to prove eligibility to travel, then a replacement must be made within 24 hours of the draw 

3-6)After the winners are selected, the Organizers shall communicate with the winner and companion, If a winner or companion fails to reply within one day of the contact attempt, the Organizers retain the right to presume the winner withdrew and forfeited the prize and hence another winner shall be selected.

3-7)The Organizers reserve the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time and without notice to the Participants.

3-8)It is the responsibility of the Participants to review the Terms and Conditions for any changes throughout the Term of the Campaign.

3-9)Continued participation in the Campaign following any amendments to the Terms and Conditions will be deemed acceptance of such changes.

3-10)The Organizers reserve the right to cancel or amend the Campaign at any time.

In all cases, determination of the Campaign Prize winners is at the sole and absolute discretion of the Organizers. The Organizers will not engage in any correspondence on this matter.

3-11)Prizes awarded in this Campaign are non-transferable, non-divisible and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other items or services.

3-12)The Organizers’ decision regarding the award of all Prizes and/or in every situation including any situation not covered in these Terms and Conditions shall be final and binding on all Participants and no queries or challenges or appeals may be made or shall be entertained.

3-13)Each applicant is eligible to participate with only one trial.

3-14)Only participants that took pictures on the stand with the hashtag are accepted

3-15)Saudi time (3 + GMT) is the approved reference for all announced dates and timings.

4)User Data

4-1)In order to enter the Campaign, Participants need to agree to share their personal details including but not limited to name, address, email address, passport copy and a phone number.

4-2)The User Data is obtained to:

  • Be used in the Campaign
  • collect user info
  • help the Organizers provide a high quality Campaign.

4-3)User Data will be kept by the Organizers for as long as necessary in the sole and absolute discretion of the Organizers, unless contrary instructions are received in writing from any Participant.

4-4)All Participants herewith agree that User Data can be disclosed and/or used by the Organizers and/or third parties for Campaign and/or marketing purposes in the Organizers sole and absolute discretion without any financial or other costs to be incurred.

5)Intellectual Property Rights

5-1)The Organizers and their related companies and entities are respectively the exclusive owners of all copy, text, software, graphics, logos, pictures, designs and all copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property or proprietary rights and all associated rights relating to the Campaign and the Website.

5-2)Union of European Football Associations and its parents, affiliates, and subsidiaries are not responsible for the promotion, administration, or execution of this Competition.

6-1)The Campaign commences on 10 March 2019 and closes at 11:00 on 8 April 2019.

7)Limitation of Liability

7-1)Participants’ performing the activities on the stand is at their own risk and neither the Organizers nor any other party involved in creating, producing or delivering the Campaign is liable or can be held accountable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect or penalizing damages due to the Participants.

7-2)The activation stands are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind either expressed or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a specific purpose or non-infringement.

7-3)The Organizers will not be responsible for late, lost or misdirected submissions; or incomplete or incorrect entrant contact details.

7-4)The Organizers decisions in relation to any aspect of the Campaign are final and binding on every person who enters and/or partake in the Campaign.


8-1)These Terms shall be displayed in the English and the Arabic language. In the event of any conflict between the two versions, the Arabic language version shall prevail.

8-2)These Terms shall be construed and governed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and any claim or dispute between Participants and the Organizers that arises in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the Campaign and/or the Platforms shall be decided exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

8-3)The Terms, together with any other notices published by the Organizers on the social media and/or on advertising material related to the Campaign, shall constitute the entire Terms governing the relationship between Participants and the Organizers concerning the participation in the Campaign, and Participants use of the Website.

8-4)If any provision of the Terms is deemed invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of the Terms, which shall remain in full force and effect. 

8-5)No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term, and the Organizers’ failure to assert any right or provision under the Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

8-6)The Organizers reserve the right to amend the Terms at any time and without notice, and it is Participants responsibility to review the Terms for any changes. Participants’ knowledge of any amendment of the Terms will signify Participants assent to and acceptance of its revised terms.
